Scholarship Deadline
Application Deadline: Friday, May 31, 2024
Eligibility
Must be a graduating high school senior from any high school located within Los Angeles County.
Demonstrate financial need (to be eligible for financial aid, applicant must have submitted a FAFSA form by the scholarship deadline).
Cumulative high school unweighted GPA (out of a 4.0 scale) must be 3.0 and above.
Only U.S. citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply. (Please note: affiliates of AAEDE are not eligible to apply)
Award Amount
Two awards of $500 each and three awards of $1,000 each will be available this year.
A total of five scholarship awards will be offered.
Application Procedures
In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must complete and submit their application by Friday, May 31, 2024.
Additionally, the recommendation form must be completed (separately, by a referee of the applicant’s choosing) by Friday, May 31, 2024.
Also, please keep in mind that a copy of transcripts and a FASFA SAR report are necessary and must be uploaded in order to complete an application.
